Despite all the grief that popular media gives women about being high-maintenance, men too are fast catching up. And what used to be a visit to the barber to get a simple crop for a man has now transformed in to a visit with catalogues displaying a variety of styles. If you want to give different identities to your characters through their appearance, it would be handy to have a few male hairstyles up your sleeve, to be completed with a few easy brushstrokes. By using our easy-to-follow guide, you too will be able to recreate this messy shaggy brunet hairstyle.
Step 1: Draw a regular shaped head a shown.
Step 2: Add a hair line to use a a guide.
Step 3: Starting right below the hair line, add curly bits of hair. Some sweeping to the left and some to the right. Make sure the hair sweeping to the right is longer, reaching to the length of the ear.
Step 4: Finish off the left side of the head by adding messy random strands of hair as shown.
Step 5: Finish off the back of the head by adding more raggedy hair, finishing a little below the ear.
