Bats are mammals with webbed wings, that enable them to fly. On contrary to popular belief, most bats are not bloodsuckers, as many species of bats eat fruit, and small insects. Bats don't see very well and rely on echolocation to figure out where objects are in space. Although real life bats are not that cute, the one that we will draw today will be.

Step 1: Draw a circle, and then begin with drawing the outline of bat’s head and body along with the upper outline of the wings.
Step 2: Now draw parallel ears of the bat on the upper portion of the head and highlight the outlines.
Step 3: Now draw the left wing of the bat with the help of three curved lines and one straight line as shown.
Step 4: Draw the right wing with the same method.
Step 5: Now sketch the legs and feet of the bat’s body.
Step 6: Add details to the face of the bat by drawing the eyes and nose as guided.
Step 7: By using different shades and colours, fill the sketch with colours and make it more realistic.
