Step 1: Start by drawing two overlapping circles. Next add the rectangle for the body. Connect the two circles with a short straight line. Draw 3 short lines out from the rectangle. Adjust your pencil a bit and extend the lines. Use short straight strokes.
Step 2: Starting with the ear draw the outside guideline for the head. Add a big circle for the eye. Next, two dots with short curved lines above for the nose. Draw a C shape for the mouth. Add jagged teeth.
Step 3: With the rectangle as your guide add outside lines for the right leg. Don’t forget the hoof and hair. For the spine draw small W shapes from the head to the leg. Now add wide circles close together around the spine area.
Step 4: For the horn big at the head drawing circles. The circles get smaller as they go up. The top is pointed. From the bottom right corner of the rectangle add the tail.
Step 5: Add the long flowing hair in small sections.
Step 6: Lets add front legs. Draw guidelines to the top two legs. One foreleg is only bone and the other has skin, hoof and hair.
Step 7:Add overlapping, multi shaped bones to the back leg.
Step 8: Erase your guidelines and add detail. Scar lines, wounds and detail lines to the mane and tail.
