How To Draw A Race Car

Automobiles are quick transportations vehicles that take us where we need to go. However, race cars are cars that are build for speed. These types of cars can typically go over 200 miles per hour, and are driven by highly trained racers. Race cars usually have many different sponsors and can be seen with a ton of logos on them. Drawing a race car may seem hard, but it can actually be very simple, especially if you follow the steps below.

Step 1: The first thing to do is to draw out the guidelines and shapes the first being a narrow oval. Add the rest of the guidelines that are sideways and slanted. Form the shape of the roof and windshield.
Step 2: The next thing to do is to draw out the shape of the front of the car starting with the hood and wheel wells. Draw out the fender all the way down and then the shapes of the windows. Draw out the hint of the trunk.
Step 3: After that, start adding the line art that will give it shape and texture. You are to draw the beginning line for the rear tire and then the frame for the window. There is an arched pin stripe that is located in the front of the rear wheel well, and travels to the back.
Step 4: The next thing to do now is to add the guard bars that are inside of the race car. Add the shape of the front head lights and fog lights, and then start drawing out the numbered stencil that will read "48" and "LOWE'S". Add the shape of the fin on the trunk.
Step 5: Now, draw out the circle shaped tires as well as the bolt holes. Finish the decal lines and the roof and hood detailing lines.
Step 6: Now, the next thing you have to do is to draw out the decal letters on the hood that spells "LOWE'S". Add more detailing lines inside of the tires and then draw out the mesh that is on the driver's side window.
