How To Draw A Bus

A bus is a large vehicle designed to carry passengers by road. Many of you might have seen it on the roads or in your school. The bus transports a number of people to and from different locations. The bus is a convenient and safe way to travel. There are several things to consider while drawing a bus because there are different types of buses. Here is a simple guide on how to draw it.

Step 1: Since we are going to be doing a more frontward view of of the bus, we will start with the front. Draw a slanted rounded rectangle then above and over that draw an other open rounded rectangle, just like as shown.
Step 2: Extend the sides of the engine by adding more open rounded rectangles around the figure you drew in step one.
Step 3: Enclose the bottom of the engine by drawing a long slanted horizontal rectangle connecting the open parts of step two. Be sure to create a semicircle opening to the left side of the drawing for the front wheel. Then add horizontal lines to the grill.
Step 4: We will now extend lines from the front of the engine to the very back of the bus to frame out the side. Be sure to add a circular opening for the back wheel. Also add two circles; a big and smaller circle for the front wheel.
Step 5: Add a circle to the back wheel, and extend the front wheel circle to give it more dimension. Also create an extended semi circle to the bottom right side of the bus for the other front wheel. Add circles to the front of the bus for headlights.
Step 6: Finish the rest of the frame of the bus as shown. Add a small circle above the shoulder of the left side of the engine, this circle will be one of the side mirrors.
Step 7: Add slanted squares to the left side of the bus for windows. Extend lines connecting the left side mirror to the left side of the front engine. Also draw rectangles to the other side of the bus for the other side mirror.
Step 8: Add more rectangles to the front top of the bus for the windshield, and horizontal and vertical lines to the side to give the bus more details, and to add a door. Add two circles above the windshield to both sides for flashing warning lights.
Step 9: Erase any mistakes and clean up lines, now you can color your yellow school bus!
