Step 1: The very first step is to write the letters of the word “OLD SCHOOL.” This will guide us in drawing our art work. For chaining, we’ve incorporated letters into one another.
Step 2: Next steps include drawing shapes for each letter. For the letter “O,” you could draw a roughly shaped square. Afterwards, you can draw another square inside the letter to show the letter hollowness.
Step 3: Next, you are going to be drawing a shape for the letter “L.” Now, here’s the tricky part, you observe that the letter “L” appears to be in front of “O” from the top and behind “O” from the bottom. You can do this by using a tool called “Pathfinder” in whatever Adobe software you’re using. First, place the letter L in front of the letter “L” and then using a pathfinder tool, remove the part of “L” appearing in front of “O” from the bottom.
Step 4: Step no. 4 highlights making shape for the letter “D.” After drawing the shape, using both placement and Pathfinder tool, adjust the appearance of your art just as shown.
Step 5: In the same way, repeat the same principle for the letter “S.”
Step 6: Step 6 involves drawing of shape for the letter “C.” After drawing its shape, we’ve rotated it a little. And by using Pathfinder and placement, adjusted its appearance.
Step 7: Draw a shape for the letter “H,” increase its size a little and by using the same placement and pathfinder tools, adjust its appearance in a creative way, just as we’ve done; a chained appearance.
Step 8: Letter “O” appears to wore by letter “H.” So, after drawing its shapes, adjust its appearance in a similar fashion.
Step 9: Similarly, repeat the process for drawing another shape for “O.” You can also copy and paste and then adjust.
Step 10: Make a shape for letter “L.” Tilt it a little and arrange it to be chained with letter “O.”
Step 11: After that, make some random squares and stars to best express your creativity. Color your art and make it as beautiful as you like. 😊
